Chapel
We foster each child's connection to faith through age-appropriate experiences that help them learn about God's love and Christian values. Throughout the year, we celebrate the holidays of Christmas and Easter, giving children opportunities to learn about their meaning and significance.
Once a month, the children attend Chapel, a special small-group gathering led by Jonnye Cartmill, our Children's Ministry leader. During Chapel, children explore important virtues such as kindness, compassion, friendship, gratitude, and respect through songs, stories, and conversations. Chapel also provides an opportunity to learn about upcoming Christian holidays and their significance.
At snack time, children are encouraged to pause and give thanks by learning and reciting a simple prayer before they eat.
