Student to Teacher Ratio
At Grace Preschool, small class sizes with a 1:5 teacher-to-child ratio allows every child to receive individualized attention and support. Nestled beneath mature oak trees, our inviting classrooms and spacious outdoor play yard provide a safe and engaging setting for learning and exploration and lots of movement!
Through books, art, music & movement, sensory play, and hands-on activities, children discover concepts in language arts, math, science, and more. Every experience is thoughtfully designed to build confidence, spark curiosity, and create a strong foundation for kindergarten and lifelong learning.

History
In the Fall of 2004 the idea of Grace Preschool was born at a LGUMC Ad-Council Board meeting. The chairperson, Tom Carson, asked Church member volunteers to make this dream come true and a committee was formed. Linda Gridley, a church member, had her company get involved to remodel some of the rooms. The committee sold knives and scissors to raise money for classroom necessities. A government grant was applied for and funded playground equipment. A permit from the town of Los Gatos required preschool hours to end no later than 3:15 pm in an attempt to mitigate the traffic surrounding LG High School’s end of day exiting students. In the fall of 2005 Grace Preschool opened where credential teachers guided preschoolers to learn academics, build friendships, and care for each other through sharing and cooperation. Exploring nature was an important part of the program from the beginning.​
